because i combined them with healthy eating and going to the gym. Then i came off them and went back to my old habits, really i think not going the gym was the biggest factor. I did put all the weight back on. I am now taking them again but this time the 15mg but all i have lost is 7lb in 3 mths. These tablets are great if you have self discipline and excercise. Good luck though to all who are taking them, because when you lose weight it makes you feel on top of the world.

I've started reductil today (have taken 1 tablet) and I feel thinner already! LOL!
I tried orlistat, but only took them for about a week and a half, because they just weren't compatible with my job etc and I was too frightened of embarassing side effects to even take them properly.
So here I am on reductil - with no appetite - nil - zilch! How fabulous is that?! I'm sure everyone with the eating problem can relate to it!
I know this is only my first day but I'm hoping for good things with this. I weigh 18st 5lbs so I need a big kick start to get me going.
I can see this forum is not as well used as the orlisat one, but I'll keep popping back hoping others are sharing their experiences.
I might be posting next week about headaches and dry mouth - or I might have lost 14st in a day! Who knows!
Catch ya later :D :magic:

that drug causes cardiovascular problems such as heart attacks, angina etc..even death.
there have been reported deaths since 2002 by ema (european medical association).
My sisiter took it and ended up in hospital for a week. she has to constantly see her doctor for check ups now. hopefully the damage reductil has caused can be reversible.
