anyone who has had an ankle TAR or AA surgery-did it help reduce previous back and leg pain?

Hi-from a bad ankle break many years ago ,I have now got ongoing lower back pain (occasionaly excruciating) and leg pain as well- and now have ended up using a walking stick.I have been recommended to have an AA and move the heel and then a TAR !!

has anyone who has had either of these operations ,who previously had related back pain etc seen any improvement in these areas as well?
