Anyone who has had covid

my doctor said to me he strongly believe that I'm physcomatic. its a disorder. but I've found my heart racing now and I'm just a little scared that covid has caused heart problems. my legs are hurting so much sometimes and I did tell my doctor yesterday. he took some blood to check my thyroid and a few other things as I've had a thyroid problem last year.... I wonder is it possible that this could be down to covid. I was doing okish up untill I got covid. should I ask for an ecg or another heart monitor ? my last ones have all came back good. but I'm worried covid has messed me up and I'm scared I will die of a heart problem. I feel like there isn't enough circulation getting to my arms and legs and maybe that's what's causing me pain and numbness. could that be my heart

your heart is most likely racing due to anxiety and worry but you can always talk to your doctor .

keep in mind that when your thoughts start coming up with conclusions like your circulation is poor, that is what anxiety does to our thinking. We start self diagnosing and we rarely if ever are correct about it. it would be best to discuss with your doctor the real facts about Covid so that you don’t have to drive yourself crazy thinking about all of this. you’re gonna be okay. Remember to calm down your mind as much as possible. And don’t overthink things. Take care

physcomatic isnt a bad thing. and yes since i got covid back in feburary i experienced anxiety and depression very bad. now its been 8 weeks ive my sertaline and im finally feeling relief. i too convinced myself daily of having heart attacks and left arm was numb but its just all in your mind. try to read a book or just some calm music. take things slowly and do one thing at a time.
