Anyone who is/was on Prozac please help

So I started at 20 mg for 4 weeks, then my dr upped me to 40 mg for 3 weeks, then 60 for 2 weeks, and now I am at 80 mg for the past 10 days. I am still  experiencing horrible anxiety, severe OCD especially the obsessive component, and crying spells and sadness. Is this normal? I felt fine after up to 60 for a couple days but then it went bad again. And since switching to 80 I haven’t had any good days. How long will this take and is this normal?  I am 27 years old and desperate for help, since no one will take me seriously sad

Also I should note I’ve been on and off it since middle school because it kept pooping out. I don’t remember it taking this long the last time I restarted 2 years ago so I’m lost

Well I understand you, sounds like your having a tough time with the meds not working at all. You ever try and other SSRIs? I heard you mention OCD I have extreme Pure O OCD and I take about 200 MG of Zoloft works wonders.

This really annoys me because I used to take this tablet and I told my doctor it isn’t working it was making me worse and they just up the dose! I felt even worse when they upped it. I felt more depressed, more anxious and even suicidal sometimes. I think with some antidepressants, the first time you take them they work but if you try again they don’t work like they did the first time. This clearly isn’t working for you and I can completely relate.

I used to have OCD, depression and anxiety and the best thing that worked for me was speaking to a psychologist. I still have problems here and there but I know how to stay on top of them, you need to change how you think and medications won’t do that but speaking to a psychologist will help you realise why your mind always goes to a dark place and teach you how to get it into a lighter place.
