Anyone with experiences on 200mg Zoloft

Hi all Ive been taking 150 mg of Zoloft for a while now , but in the last month or so I'm starting to find it is no longer working. I constantly feel as if my body is ramping up for a panic attack. My heart starts racing out of no where , i start getting really nauseous and sweating. Thankfully I've stayed rational enough to realize what is happening , but it steel feels awful. My doctor has recommended I increase to 200 mg of Zoloft a day. I guess i'm just nervous about taking 200 mg as it is the maximum dose the doctor would prescribe.Does anyone have any experience on taking this much Zoloft??I guess I tend to worry about side effects and serotonin syndrome........

Hi, I've just gone up to 100mg, starting to feel it helping (:

Some people have said that dropping down, not up, has helped? I guess it's like you can take "too much". It's all about finding the right dose apparently 🤔

How long exactly have you been on 150mg?

P.s. there's no shame in being on 200mg if it turns out that's the right dose for you, if it helps you then it's for the best (:

I’d been on the 150mg for about 6 months before I felt like it stopped working. So far so good on 200mg except for a constant feeling that my stomach is empty even though I’ve eaten.

I was on Prozac before Zoloft and I honestly liked it better. The only reason I switched to the Zoloft is because my husband and I are thinking of starting a family. My OB/GYN seemed to think the Zoloft was safer in pregnancy.Good lucksmile
