I have taken both and nothing has helped. Have you guys tried another med that has clean BV? I see my gyno in two days.

Solosec, Tindamax, Clindamycin oral. I’ve tried these. Clindamycin helped the most. After treatment I’ve been using VH essentials vaginal suppositories and a probiotic inserted at night. I haven’t seen any yeast or my BV since day two of the Clindamycin. I have a slight Odor but it doesn’t smell foul. I really feel like I’m getting better.

Nope I’ve been feeling good to give an update a few days after I stopped the Clindamycin I felt like by BV was coming back (not sure if I was paranoid) I bought a new probiotic VH essentials prebiotic probiotic with cranberry. They had great reviews. So far so good.

UGH I am so frustrated! Why won't this go away!!!
Thank you soooo much for responding right away, I go to the gyno this Thursday. I am so sick of taking pills and feeling like crap! What pills have worked for you? What brand suppositories do you use?

I took metronidazole orally back in 2016 and it worked great. Maintaining yourself from getting the BV back is key. Like I said.. my menstrual cycles are usually normal but once in a blue they get heavy and it triggers the BV again. So a few months ago I got the BV and I had to use metronidazole gel vaginally because that’s how bad it was. So, to avoid this, the suppositories are VH Essentials you can get them in cvs or any convenient drugstore. Use them initially towards the end of the cycle when it’s dried up. Use them at night and sleep on a towel. Also, read up on suppository pearls and the steam like I mentioned before. I haven’t gotten it and I been ok.. again I hope this helps you! I know the struggle it’s awful and takes control of your life.
