Aortic Dissection

Hi,

My name is Arjuna. I am male and 67. Just last month I was diagnosed by a doctor as having aortic dissection Type A and Type B, meaning ascending and descending.

He advised surgery but I hesitated as the risks of me surviving the surgery are slim. I would like to know whether acupuncture can alleviate my condition as I have heard much about the efficacy for a plethora of sicknesses.

The condition is due to the widening of the aorta resulting in a tearing, shearing and ripping pain. But I do not suffer any pain, whether in my chest or abdomen which is very strange. The doctor is also puzzled why I do not have any pains.
