I have had my appendix removed 4 days ago using key hole surgery.

is it normal for my belly to be a lot bigger than normal? if so how long will it take until it will be back to normal size?

    Hi Russell this is completely normal my son had his appendix removed in Febuary and was like this it's from the gas they pump into your tummy to be able to see should settle within the next week best of luck hope

      Ok thank you so much. i was worrid as it has been 4 days now and my belly is 1/3 bigger than normal. i dont want it to be permiment.

      All normal after laparoscopy. It trapped wind try get some pepper mint water from pharmacy. Or mint tea should help
