Have been on sertraline  six.months now.  My appetite has not come back.  I do eat but not with any enthusiasm.  Everything just tastes yucky.  Has anyone else experienced this after this length of time.

thks

Hi I have been on sertraline now for nearly 11 months in total 9.5 month of which on 100mg I have gone the other way. I eat like a horse! Have put Weight on. Strange though as when I got poorly I lost my appetite completely when I like food. We're you a small eater before ?

It's interesting how some people gain and others lose.  Going to the drs this week to see what to do.  I have never been a big eater but have enjoyed food.  Taste is just out the window.

I am at 150mg 6 weeks on Sertraline Eating is getting worse. Mood has not been better. Not feeling right at all. Smell and taste are bland and no appetite at all. Getting frustrated.

I sympathize David.  I am going to the Drs this week and see what she has to say.  Also have a bad taste in my mouth as well.  Do you?  None of these symptoms until I went on these meds.  Will let you know what she says.

      Lynda,

taste not really sometimes. But I think it's because I am not eating. I see my dr tomorrow I will keep you posted. I had not had this nausea before.
