Yes, its sickening. I Cant stand it anymore. I wish this on no one. I can't enjoy sex. Its always irritated inside and my entrance of vagina swells really bad . Now im having no sensations down there like i dont feel hardly anything when im being penetrated. I just been very depressed crying all the time. Like why? Why cant the Drs figure out how to cure this with medication that actually works not makes it worse. Everything else they have found medicines for. Why not for BV? I Pray this goes away everyday. It will be almost 2 tears and im frusterated.

I've spent £100 in the last week buying vitamins and bv pessary and they just give me bad thrush which I didn't have before I tried the pessarys I thought they'd worked but the bv smell was back within hours of the last dose .

I've changed my washing powder washing liquid I dont use soap in my bath anymore I can have a bath and a shower and within a hour i smell again it's been 4 long years with no break for me luckily I'm single but you poor girls I do feel for you all .

we've tried our version of the pessary and gel.

It's the balance ACTIV bv gel, I had unprotected sex two weeks ago within days I had bv and I hadn't had it for a very long time. I used the gel and still the smell then I used another and its gone. I was using the vagisil as a soap but today I used aqueous as a soap instead. I'd say to anyone suffering if you have regular sex either use protection or use the gel every night till its gone then use one once a week for maintensnce. As for getting thrush I remember getting both together and treating thrush with tablets and bv with the gel. I also make sure I wash and rinse my hair to the side so none goes anywhere it shouldn't and use only simple soaps to clean. The other thing I do is avoid wearing pants unless I have to avoid irritation.

Funnily enough I use aquarius on the face so I know it doesn't irritate or burn, it was only today I thought to use it elsewhere. I think my problem is years ago sperm used to come out as quick as it went in but now it just lingers about which leads to the bv. I was just watching peaky blinders and thought wouldn't mind him but then realised not even him would be with bv for lol. It's nasty when you smell it and dread someone getting a whiff but if anyone's tasted apple cider they know it's nasty and burns your skin terribly so I'd never use it internally again desperation leads us to daft places. I never wear pj's to bed and the whole no knickers thing really does help.. Let's hope I never have an accident at work and they all get to know.

I'd just be very careful what you use as it's a delicate area and you want it calm down there. I eat activia yoghurt and while I don't think there a cure they do help to keep a good balance. I couldn't get into peaky blinders hated the accent more black country than brummie but now I hooked
