Applied Kinesiology

Has anyone tried applied kinesiology? I'm hoping to see someone shortly, just wanting to hear of any other experiences.

From what I've been able to tell, applied kinesiology (AK) is a pseudoscience, whereas kinesiology is a science. The claims of AK practitioners seem very bizarre to me. We in the ME/CFS community have a difficult job of separating out legitimate therapies from those making fantastical claims. It's not always easy, since ME/CFS is largely a mysterious illness with no known cure. So all these charlatans jump in to fill the void. So beware. Especially if money is involved.

Yeah - it's nonsense. They claim some impossible stuff.

Keep a closed mind and you MAY miss out on some good results. As I said my friend with ME doen't make her supplement decisions unless she muscle tests a product and the dose for her body...

Example, how critical higher doses of folate and B12 are for her.

There's no evidence of even internal reliability to this testing, never mind it being of any help to patients. I hope things go well for your friend, but this stuff is no better than tea reading.

You can believe or disbelieve anything you want but when a person gets results, they are a believer...I shared my story below on the Soy and chiro and his muscle testing...he's gone on to advanced alternative healing protocols and wants to help his patients...

Personally I trust more alternative healers than the mainstream drugs and cutting....been there and dealing with the negative outcome.

I have to agree with you here Joy!

The place I am going to was suggested to me by someone who has a great testimony. While I understand that there are a lot of money making schemers out there I have to believe that there are good and useful alternative healing options out there, if I relied on Western doctors then I'd most likely be stuck in limbo for a long time given my experience thus far smile

Hi, I have been doing this work for a lot of years....can't recall where I first learned of it and had it done on me, but I may and will get back on that.

A lot of chiros who also offer a special line of supplements used AK testing to tell if the "body" likes this product and how much of a dose the body needs...

The body and energy are SMART.

I also use a pendulum almost daily for the same reasons and then double check with my muscle testing....

Those who know this work, believe in it and trust in it. Actually, a good friend who deals with ME, uses her muscle testing for everything she takes and dosing....she uses no drugs, all supplements....One chiro she sees, uses it and sells the products I mentioned....I can tell you the product line via PM if you want...

One day I asked my integrative MD to muscle test the bottle of Isocort I was going to try for adrenals and I tested weak, so did not buy it.

Right now I'm using a product from the above company for tendons and ligament support and I test very strong for this product....so I will continue with it, it's a food based supplement.

One has to believe in the alternative healing world.

OK, it just came to me, where my first encounter with AK....I've seen chiros all my life for back issues and I was going to a great guy and I would drag into his office ... I was so fatigued...

So he got his stash of vials out and started testing me for the "culprit(s)"...low and behold it was soy, I tested very weak for it and I had gone to drinking soymilk way back before I knew the negatives of soy. So got off the soy milk and any soy products and my fatigue lifted....

So this test showed how negative soy was for my body....and you can do research and read all about that too....it has a very negative effect on the thyroid...weak low thyroid = fatigue.

I then went on to learn more and do my own testing and then the pendulum came into my life via other friends....love this work...

Was talking to my friend who deals with ME and who uses AK (muscle testing) a LOT and here is what she says about for her health:

(((Re Muscle Testing - I think I would have been bedridden without it. It helped fix my adrenals, got my liver detoxified, saved my gallbladder, and other stuff. I would have been so much worse off without it. It's not infallible and doesn't seem to have the answer for everything, but it's helped me more than any doctor has. Maybe you could try the MT on whether to take high doses of vitamin C. I know, I'm sick to death of spending money on supps too. Had to order an extra $50 worth of stuff just to do the mercury detox .....))))

We both are committed to alternating healing and this MT is part of our healing efforts.

Are you all talking about homeopathy? I was tested for muscle weekness, I felt it was a real con. I have probably got this all wrong but is AK testing for muscle weekness?
