Approaching 7 weeks sertraline

Hello I have been taking sertraline for 6 weeks and 4 days for depression mainly, with some accompanying anxiety. I have been on 50mg for 3 weeks and the rest of the time 100mg. Side effects have been minimal. As a lot of you guys can empathise with my mood is low, i have lost enjoyment in things i enjoyed, barely go out and spend all day watching tv. I was on 50mg 5 years ago for debilitating anxiety and depression after being housebound for 2 years and lo and behold sertraline was a miracle pill and I was back to normal in 3 weeks and my life went from strength to strength. I was happy and stable and stopped taking it after a year. I see a lot of people struggle with anxiety and was wondering how people with major depression have coped on sertraline as thus far I have seen no improvement whatsoever. I understand improvements can take up to 12 weeks especially with dose changes but these feelings are dragging me down and hopelessness is creeping in. I would appreciate any input and would be happy to answer any questions if anyone needs help/support. Thank you for reading.
