hey everyone,well i m going to have sphincterotomy ,and i am super nervous about it , people who had it , please let me know how was your experience post surgery ,both short term and long term effects u dealt with,that would be of great help ,and kinda motivate me ,that i am going towards right path 😜👍👍👍👍👍

I had a sphincterectomy recently, and it is not as bad as you would imagine. Not at all - the anus actually works quite well for what you need it (pooping). In my particular case, I had some complications which necessitate further surgery(ies), but the sphincterectomy itself was neither followed by particularly much pain, nor particularly much discomfort, except for the complications that are specific to my case.
