Just had my 2 week post op visit and was doing fine, then that Sat. I started spotting and then got more birght red that night(scared me to death).Still spotting today, but after reading everyone elses scenerios make me feel a lot more calm. Thanks everyone for your stories!

    Hi Heather it does make you worry but it's perfectly normal. I bled for 6 weeks after my hysterectomy. I never had a post op appointment only to have stitches out at the GP surgery. But the surgeon did say I would bleed and it could be a few days or a few weeks depending on how I healed.

    Hi heather,

    It is normal. I am also spotting on week 2 post op and my gynae said it is normal unless if you are bleeding badly like heavy menses flow.

      No, I'm just spotting with pantyliner. Thanks for the info and hope you are doing well! I'm so glad for this site!
