Aquablation -One week post surgery.

I had the procedure one week ago. I am 55 years old and had a prostrate 3 times the normal size. I'm a gym rat engaging in heavy weight training and cardio 5 days a week. I use testosterone as a performance enhancing drug which I'm sure contributed to the issue.

I have had very little pain though I found the catheter to be very irritating and it disturbed my sleep a great deal. My doctor's has his patients in catheters for 5 days post procedure.

I have had zero pain since removal and have been urinating varying amounts including a few bladder drainers. I have had morning erections every day since the procedure (no fun with a tube in the penis) so I'm extremely relieved with that development.

I am extremely optimistic based on my current condition and look forward to returning to the gym in 2 weeks.

Of interest to those of us who use PED or HRT is that my doc said I could continue to use test with no worries.

Has your Uro approved returning to stenuous exercise so soon? My Uro recommends patients do not undertake any physical exercise/work for at least 6 weeks after op.
