Are cysts in general more common with Sjogren's?

Wondering if anyone else has similar issues with cysts.  I have dealt with the cysts of my eyes (due to dry eyes and ocular roseaca) for years - 25+.  Recently, due to other issues and several MRI's I have discovered I have more cysts than I ever knew.  I have on in my wrist, one on my ovary and a huge one (continuing to grow) on my left side under my ribs.  Just wondering if the issues with fluids, cause those with sjogren's to develop or be prone to more cysts.

    Hi Janette

Have you been checked for autoimmune conditions such as Sjogren's? There's a whole collection of them with similar traits. Sjogren's sometimes comes along with endo.

I have Sjogren's.  I was diagnosed this past September.  I am sure I have had it for years, but the main flare up began with I had the flu twice las winter.   Is there a relationship between cysts and Sjogren's?

Jeanette, I don't know. I read this earlier thinking that it had been posted in the endometrios forum, where there's a lot of talk about ovarian cysts. Sorry, senior brain moment. I had cysts in my repro organs when I still had those, up to age 27. I used to get painful tiny blisters or cysts in my eyelashes. Got a lot of nodules under my skin.

Hi Janette. I was diagnosed with Sjogrens 6 years ago but I’ve had it for most of my life. Looking back I had strange symptoms even as a teenager. When I was 16 I had a huge cyst growing in the roof of my mouth. I had to have it removed by an oral surgeon. I was left with a huge soft spot in the roof of my mouth that eventually filled in with bone. I had to have one front tooth removed so you can imagine the embarrassment of a 16 year old in High school. Eventually I had a bridge put in to replace the lost tooth. I even had a dry mouth back them. Strange numb symptoms from then on. I was tested for MS 3 times when I was young and then finally diagnosed with Sjogrens when I was 66. 72 now and on a immunosuppressant (azathioprine) and have held my own for 5 years. I do have dryness everywhere as well as bad neuropathy in my legs and feet but I can still walk but need to really concentrate so I don’t fall.

I too have cysts in my eyes .... also in my cervical spine, knee and a big one in my thigh.   Strange I always thought it could be from sjogrens.   I was diagnosed back in 2012.   I too believe I have had this disease most of my life.   I was also checked for MS.  I have hypothyroidism, small fiber neurop., SIBO from no saliva.  It just goes on and on.    I try to walk as much as possible to keep active. I just turned 60.

    Must medication list to long.
