Are herpes bumps only ? Pics

idk if im having my first outbreak being that i have a new sexual partner as of a week & a half ago .. i thought it was either chafing, from when i had my thong too far up there or my shorts (wasnt wearing panties) were too tight but today i actually got a mirror to look & now im worried ! i dont see actual bumps but it does sting a little when i touch it directly . i would say its been about roughly 4-5 days since it started i think .
