Are my ectopic beats problematic or not?

So I have been battling for years with ectopic heartbeats, it all started with my health anxiety, causing me to have panic attacks. And when I beat panic attacks, I was left with these ectopics for the last 5 years. Now I have to admit it is much better, since I stopped completely drinking alcohol, coffee, energy drinks, carbonated drinks, I also stress much less. But I still have days when I get them in certain period of a day. It never happens in the morning, usually start around 5-6 pm before the sunset. The way I get them is always different, sometimes a few them in one minute, then in stops for like 30 minutes, sometimes every 10 minutes I get one. sometimes I do not get any in a whole day that I recognize. But there are days when I am very anxious and those days are the worse, I probably get about 200-300 ectopics in those days. But yeah maybe once a month that happens. My concern now is that I get a few ectopics when I do very hard physical activity, like running for 30 20 minutes, or driving bike for hours up the mountains. I would get some ectopics when my heartbeat is over 170, then it stops as I relax, but it is not like i get tons of them, its like 3-5 ectopics and then it stops, but they happen while my beat is over 170. Is that normal to happen sometimes? Remember I do not get this always. One day I get them on a hard training, other day I dont. Is this something I cant cure, and is there any danger with training very hard like this?

This ecg was from last year when i had bad anxiety attacks, my pulse was 120, I am really scared of measuring blood pressure and doing ECG-s. I just cant sit still...

Thanks in advance whoever can help me and ease my anxiety about these ectopics. And I am an athlete, I train for last 10 years.

hi emir, i also had heath anxiety causing me to have panic attacks and i beat it now i started dealing with ectopic heart beats also known as pvc.. mine does not happen quite often but it probably happens more than i realized.. what really scared me was when my pvc/skipped beats suddenly hit me like thud! followed by a fast heart beat.. and it would also take my breath away for a second.. did you also experience that? how did u know when you get ectopic heart beats?

Yeah that is the thing, we both won the panic attack things, but it is like the anxiety still rules our system, just less than before, we can now control it better rather than panicking and letting the fear eat us slowly. Well I had those strong thuds, but mine were in sinus rhythm. I usually get skipped beat and then normal beats afterwards. Yours sound like you get a thud and then couple of fast heartbeats, now I think that is on another level of anxiety, because that is not sinus rhythm, if there is a sudden change in the pace. But I am not a doctor so do not take anything serious from me, maybe if you did ecg you can spot those moments when your heart speeds up after a thud?

mine is also followed by normal beats, but there were just a couple times where it was followed by fast heart beats, maybe it happened bc it gave me a panic attack, skip beats are really annoying.. especially when they seem to take my breath away.. my cardio said its common with skip beats ..do you also feel it sometimes? i did an ecg countless times and its always normal.. and i dont want to do holter thing cuz my doctor told me that my skip beats are not to worry about.. my 2d echo test is normal too.. i dont quite experience skip beats very often.. maybe just one to few times a week.. sometimes not at all.. im trying to start exercising amd change my diet and it seems to help..

My ectopics do not take my breath away, they did few years before when I was scared from them too much. Now I just feel a small pause, and then normal beats afterwards, but no dizzy or problems with breathing, only sometimes if my throat is sore, an ectopic beat would make me cough. My ecg test are also okay. Ectopics seem to happen only at home haha. I feel like bloating brings them up, or simply full stomach. I think that is why I never have ectopics in the morning, only later in the day as I eat more and also i tend to get more nervous later in the day, more agitated. Man, I wish I could forget about these ectopics, and live a normal life one day, without ever paying attention to them. Yesterday I got about 20 of them, but none when I was training for 90 minutes, which is very good for me. Yeah exercise should help, just do not over do it, too much will cause bad hormones to kick in and make you feel miserable and then you will think about your heart again 😄
