Are my symptoms BV?

So every time I go to the doctors they tell me I have BV.
Sometimes I have little Lactobacillus, sometimes I have NO bacteria (good or bad) what so ever.
My symptoms are -
VERY sore discharge ( even sore when sitting down ) only get relief when I have my period.
Thin grey (sometimes at certain times of the month become clumpy and yellow/green)
Itchy sometimes.
Shooting pains from the enterance of my vagina up.
Feeling generally tired and unwell.
Sometime pain and swelling in my lower abdomen.
I have been tested negative for all sti's including mycroplasma - not yet been tested for ureaplasma.
Put on the pill incase of any hormone imbalances + put on numerous anti biotics.
I am severely depressed over this and I want to see if other women get the same symptoms as I do. I believe it all started after I took an antibiotic after a UTI. I'm so frightened this will become chronic + due to the nature of my job - I am always physically active and it is not only destroying my sex life with my fiancé, it is destroying my work life and my mental health.
This has been going on for 9 months now and I would try anything to stop this someone help!

Hi Jemma I feel for you. It's all you can think about when your feeling so uncomfortable 😣
My symptoms where continuously like yours and it was Bv. I say was, after reading extensively about Bv and people doing strange unsafe things with coconut oil vit c etc etc I decided that none of that was for me. I decided the best advice was the NHS advice and that was to rid my cupboard of feminine washes and Wash with Aqueous cream which can be used as a soap. The cream/wash cleans you safely but also moisturises the area which calmed everything right down.....until eventually after a couple of days it all stopped. So far I use it daily and it seems to be keeping everything at bay so to speak.
its a safe one to give a try, Get it from the chemist, and it's not expensive.
Good luck

Just seen your post. Does the Aqueous cream have to be a certain strength as isn't there different ones? I think I have some around somewhere as have used topically if itchy skin elsewhere for my daughter. Not sure how this can get rid of infection or bad bacteria though but will give it a go. Will try anything now.

Also was going to try Coconut oil with lemon juice as was told by a Dr at private hosp that I go to for allergies that this would help bv. So dunno how it can be unsafe if they have recommended it. But not tried yet. As I did believe antibiotics would work, but haven't.
