Are my symptoms those of MS?

Hi guys! Just before Christmas 2016 I collapsed on a train and lost my vision for around 10 minutes before it coming back and I was left with a weak sensation in my right arm and leg. I went to A and E and everything seemed ok, they did a head CT but that is as far as it went. My symptoms passed but then I did some exercise and they came back and haven't really gone since, for the past month I have been experiencing some odd sensations, I have been feeling tired all the time for example I would have 10 hours sleep then and hour later need to nap again. My whole body feels like it is tingling/humming/shaking it's really hard to explain, and I get pain in my little fingers. I also seem to be tripping up a bit more, and i get an occasional weakness in my left leg and arm or it will swap to my right leg or arm another day (the same sensation I felt when I first got symptoms) . In addition to this I also have different sized pupils (which I had about a month before I collapsed on the train) and double vision which has only started this week.

I'm terrified as I am only 18. Would you recommend getting an MRI scan and waiting a while to be seen by a neurologist or if symtoms persist or worsen should I get my symptoms checked at a and e?

It keeps me up really late and is giving me bad anxiety. These symptoms are also coinciding with bad heart palpitations.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thankyou so much x

Firstly don't google. Honestly I've made myself ill. I had Simalr symtoms, blurred vision ect. I also have this absolutely numbness in my right hand twitching all over and a buzzing in my leg. Now im convinced i have MND. I mean convinced. I'm a nurse im off my work with stress. I'm getting married in 10 weeks and I've got no drive to do anything I've had to go back to my mums and I'm currently in her bed holding her hand I'm terrified. Don't let health anxiety take hold because you'll never get out. Make a GP appointment and write your syntoms down so nothings missed. When's your neuro appointment mines not for ages and I'm literally losing the will the live 😭😭😭😭

Hey so i had similar symptoms to you and im 20 years old only i didn't collapse i just slowly got so weak i could baarely walk or move and i had the numbness and tingling. I sort of pushed to get the MRI at the beginning as my mum has MS and i sorta regret it because i had it done and had to pay $550 and then ended up in hospital like a week or so later and had the same thing done for free haha so i would wait till you see your neurologist they are very knowledgable in that area and will know what scans you should get and the neurologists are so expensive as it is i had to then pay 470 for my neuro appointment so in the last year i have paid like close to 6000 inc my surgery next week! so totally sucks! i would wait till you see your neurologist to save some money smile

Hope you get some answers soon!

Hi Katie. Sorry to hear you're unwell. I really hope you managed to get yourself into a better state of mind before your wedding. The reason for my email, is you mention a buzzing. What was this like for you? And where? Mine started in my knee and was 24/7 for a few days and then eased but came back only last week. Did it feel like a cell phone being left on?
