Welcome to the site.Just to say everyone is different to what exercises they do what works for one might not work for another it might make matters worse. Have you tried swimming that is gentle enough to help and it does not put stain on you? Have you also tried relaxation that sometimes helps.Has your GP not suggested any exercises for you or a physio if you have been? I hope you find something that works for you but i would at least try swimming first!! But try not to do too much at first.
Let me know how you get on

When the spine is stiff, muscles are tight. If you buy a foam roll ( I bought mine in Japan) and use it daily to roll your spine, you can find more freedom and mobility.
Experimenting with lying on the roll in the lumbar and thoracic and later the cervical spine helps a lot. I clasp my hands behind the head for support.
In time your pains will fade away.
An osteopath can fix the areas you find tough to fix. Obviously we cannot keep going to osteos, so a bit of self help goes a long way.
Never crank too hard, and go by how your body feels.
Good Luck.
