Are these Genital Warts ?

Posted , 4 users are following.

I've been seen by my gp who thinks these are genital warts. I had some bleeding after sex and when checked she said there was a cluster further up into my vagina too. Told me to contact the sexual health clinic and I have a referral to Gynea anyway. this has been since 4th November. I've heard nothing and really anxious about this. can anyone advise please? I've had the same partner for 20 years but the doc said warts can lay dormant for decades.

its not a prolapse thats for sure. is this at the top or bottom of your vagina ? do they cause you any discomfort ? also do you have any other bumps around your vagina ?

Thanks for replying. Its at the bottom of the opening. It feels heavy when I'm on my period and itches a little. Apart from that no discomfort. I didn't think it was warts as no other bumps around the vagina. Sadly the sexual health clinics are still closed to get advice. This waiting is awful. It seems to have grown a little. The bit at the top seems more prominent too.

This is a more recent pic. looks like it's in the middle of 2 swollen things. I used to be able to see inside but these are covering the entrance 🤔

OK so I just back from my gynaecology appointment and it's great news. What I've seen is my hymen and part of my vagina, but as we age it can drop so I need to do more pelvic floor exercises and try to lose some weight. All normal tissue, no warts of STIs. I hope this helps people. This site was very useful for me. Thanks 😊.
