if you got tested for hiv after 2 months and it was negative, you DON'T have hiv,

please provide a photo of the back of your throat, stick your tongue out and say "AAAAA" while you take the photo with the flash so I can see in the back of your throat and uvula (the hanging thing), and don't panic if you see white stuff or lot's of bumps.

to be honest, what you're describing until now sounds like you have an yeast infection.

the photos are ok, if you can please also provide one of the white bumps on your lip, candida can cause oral thrush, so you might see white or red patches in the mouth and tongue etc, the white patches should be able to rub off leaving a red patch underneath, you should ask your doctor or a chemist, he will probably recommend 1 dose of fluconazole and an oral gel for thrush.

    Hi sab,

Acne is not a sign of HIV- you haven't given enough detail about your age or what else is happening in your life. For example, acne is a common feature in adolescents, both boys and girls; and some women taking hormonal contraception develop acne as a side-effect. Acne is also a feature of polycystic ovaries, a common gynae. condition.

The two photos showing close-ups of the vulva are just highlighting normal sebaceous (oil) glands.

As jason says, a negative test for HIV definitely excludes infection: Last sex Nov '19; HIV test Feb '20 (four months later).

Photos of your mouth - ?not sure what you want to show but tongue looks healthy.

hi adhari, thanks for replying. i am 24 and its my first time experiencing this acne situation. before this ive only had hormonal acne since i only get acne when im about to have my period. but now it grows all over my face neck back n shoulder n sometimes im not sure if theyre really acne or not since i dont usually get them before (altho everyones around me been telling that it is just acne). does that mean my vulva is fine and the spots are nothing to be worried about? the photos of the roof of mouth was to show some red dots that i just noticed on the day i made this post. it was painful but it seems to have receded as of today.

by the way adhari what do you mean by "negative test for HIV definitely excludes infection"? does it mean that since ive tested and got negative so i am still negative? or?

Sounds like you may want to see a dermatologist if the acne has flared up.

So a 4th generation HIV test will detect infection about 3 weeks after an incident. If you had a blood test 4 months later and it was reported as negative, then it's clear that you're not infected.

The only important caveat is that if you had sex AFTER your blood test with another partner, then of course it invalidates the result.

yes i might refer to a dermatologist soon. ohh okay thanks you, after the test i did not have any sexual relations nor changed partners. by the way i realized this thing on my lip today, could it be a sore forming or just a busted lip? ive been having dry lips lately. please let me know what u think. im getting a bit paranoid since i have been having chills for two days image

I have the same small bumps on the side of my lips since I was 15 probably and before I ever kissed a girl, they are normal and won't go away or multiply, the bump might just be dry lips hopefully and not herpes.

As for the acnee...might be a skin yeast infection...that might explain some of your other symptoms like the white coating on your tongue that you get sometimes.

Not sure- if it is a problem that keeps recurring then a herpes cold sore is more likely.
