It is adjustment. It makes no difference if it is withdrawal from mirt or side-effect of ven at this point. 37.5 venlafaxine is sub-therapeutic. Your doctor wants you on a more substantial dose so he did well to up after about a week. Your adjustment should not take more than a couple of weeks as far as the worst of the side-effects go. Mirt at 30mg will help ease the anxiety ven initially causes. Hang in there but keep in touch with the prescribing doctor if you feel you are worsening considerably over the week. All the best.

Yes it is hard. I remember the feeling...and this rough patch will feel like eternity. But it is doable. Give yourself a break for a while. Let your brain reboot and your body rest a while and don't lose heart. Lots of ups and downs to look forward to at first. But it is doable. Lots of people on here who have been or are going through the same. It is a comfort I think. xx

You are probably experiencing side effects from the venlafaxine however they do settle down after a couple of weeks. You probably will sweat more as that side effect seems to never go away.Just be patient and try not to despair.Give it time and try to be patient.

I know it seems endless however you have to be patient and keep working towards feeling better.Use relaxation techniques meditation etc.l know it is hard but practice will help with that.Medication will help however you will have to work hard on yourself.lt's a long journey so stay focused and you will get there in the end.
