Are this penis herpes? Help!

Hello!

some weeks ago I discovered two small pimples on my penis. Does anybody know what they could be?

I caught a cold, had fever and quite bad inflammation in the throat. Then I went to the doctor and recieved KEFEXIN (Cefalexin) tablets. Two or three hours after taking the first two KEFEXIN tables I felt itchy in my upper lip and then some herpes turned up - I've had herpes in the same spot a couple of times before so this was nothing new to me. Then I went to the pharmacy and bought some Aciclovir tables. The inflammation went away the next day and the herpes on the lip after four or five days. However, I accidentally discovered these two pimples on my penis. I was 100% sure that they were not there before.

Now I've been having them for weeks and they just won't go away. They are neither itchy nor painful but it just feels super weird to have them on my penis. The pimple in the first picture was smaller than the one in the second page when I discovered them, and now they are almost of the same size.

Does anybody know what they are? Could they have anything to do with the herpes on my lip? But why won't they disappear?

HELP cry

When you say pimple, does it have a thin layer or does it seem like a thick layer?

When last sis you have sexual contact w someone?

    Have you tried squeezing them?

They look like there's a possibility of being herpes or genital warts. Hard to tell w pic and everyone presents herpes differently.

      Many thanks for your reply.

The skin looks rather thin. Seems that there is something white inside and the bottom is a bit reddish...now when I scrutinise them I realise that there are two tiny ones growing closer to these pimples. I assume that these will become similar size in one or two weeks.

I tried to squeeze one of them when I first discovered them. It didn't break and I just stopped because I was afraid the liquid inside could be infectious.

Shall I consult a dermatologist for this?

Me and my patner have been living together for almost 5 years and we only have sexual contact with each other.

I don't think my partner has anything similar in the genital area.

Well, your partner may have oral herpes and passed it to to your genitals that way.

Based on your description and having flu like symptom's along w it, sounds like it is herpes. Go ASAP to the doctor to have it swabbed (may or may not come back w false negative, since they haven't ulcerated).

If it turns out not to be HSV 1 on the genitals, then that means your partner is an asymptomatic carrier if HSV 2. Either way, this happens more often than you realize in monogamous relationships.

Hi! Went to the doctors today and he said it could be herpes or wart. He wasn't sure because they look more like herpes but haven't break since I discovered them a month ago.

He suggested that I test with anti-herpes medicin for 10 days now and see if the pimple/blister disappear. If not then I will take some tests and see if they can be identified.

So I received VALAVIR 500 MG (Valacyclovir) for 10 days use. Will report then how it goes.

just checked them again...actually now I'm thinking they are more likely to be warts...the top of the skin feels a bit dry and it seems there isn't any liquid inside. Tow smaller ones are just growing around them.

I've always been having a couple of small skin tags on my neck and one on my waist. A couple of months ago I realised that some very small ones were growing around those on my neck. But they are still very very small.

I wonder if I always have wart virus in my body and they start showing up in new places when my immune systeme is weak?

I dunno, it is hard to tell from the pics. Not all herpes sores will have fluid in them.

The fact that they've been around as long as they have w no change, makes it a little more likely that they are warts.

Your doctor wasn't much help. I suggest seeing a dermatologist next time and then if they are warts, they can at least treat them at that appt.

yes the doctor mentioned about some kind of treatment next time - if they turn out to be warts. I'll see how it goes now with Valacyclovir.

BTW I've also been suffering from red & swollen foreskin (area near the underside of glans / frenulum area) with occasional paper cuts since 1.5 years - especially after intercourses. Have done tests for fungi & STD but all negative. Have been trying cream against fungi and steroid cortisone but nothing has helped. Now I'm suspecting it could be genital psoriasis as the description of this desiese is extremely close to my symptoms. Already discussed with my doctor about this and I will get an appointment with a dermatologist - hopefully soon.

Could this have anything to do with the possible warts?

Jesus...so many difficult problems down there....frown

OK... Now that you mention that, that sounds like herpes... Full panel std screening doesn't include herpes, you have to have specifically request it or they don't put you in for it.

Herpes will causing swelling, redness andwhat looks like paper cuts. You may have also picked up warts recently, or those could also be herpes bumps.

You need to request a blood test for herpes.

oh really? This could possibly explain everything...so it could mostly be HSV-1? - because I have had herpes simplex on my upper lip several times since six years ago, even once on my ankle. And now it's attacking my penis?!

I'll ask my doctor to let me have a HPV test next time. Than you for your kind advice!

You'll have to get a blood test to determine if it is 1 or 2. Just cause you have it on your mouth which is hsv 1, doesn't mean you have hsv 1 down there too. If you do, then you got it from oral sex. If it is 2, then yiu got it from sex. If you come up positive, you need to notify people you were w since you've had symptoms. A guy who just posted on herw the other day, had the same issues w his foreskin, but he also got blisters on his shaft as well.

Keep in mind, that herpes can still spread w no symptoms and w use of condoms.

ok. Will request a test next time I visit the doctor.

Now I've been using the valacyclovir for 6 days and there seems to be no changes at all with these pimples/blisters.
