Are We Disabled?

Hi,

I'm planning a trip south next month by public transport and although I don't have a disabled 'sticker' or anything to say I am disabled, I'm wondering if anyone has? I have been told I'm disabled because I have an 'artifical hip' but never considered myself disabled? I walk with a stick  outside more often than not, and my hip aches at times but......disabled?

I dont think we are considered disabled Millie Jean, as it is a temporary medical problem with a permanent medical solution, unless it does not work and nothing can be done, then I guess you could apply. Some arthritis sufferers I know are entitled to apply, but I am not sure we are. Just my view.

Right thanks folks, we are not disabled just temporarely unable out of order biggrin. I've been quite enjoying aerobics over the past few weeks but this last time I don't know what the 'instructor' was thinking because none of us are near her age! She got a bit over zealous I think and I ached the next day, out came the paracetamol! smile She did say we could go at our own speed 'it's your choice, your workout' she said but the music grief lol, still if I feel up to it this coming week I shall persevere but at my own 'half' pace, thankfully I stand right at the back! Not up front. Like my friend says 'it can't do any harm' hmmm excercise with caution I say.
