Are you left with white spots??

I have had what I suspect is PR for years, and although I manage it with Head and Shoulders, I am left with hundreds of white circles where the PR has been. This is now getting me down almost more than the PR in the first place. Fake tan won't cover it - does anyone know of any other way to cover it, or to get my whole skin down to the whiter colour? I'm fed up of looking like a reverse dalmation!!!!

I am white, and not even dark skinned at that, but these white spots are very noticeable.

Please help?

    HI,

I had PR last July for the first time and after the spots had all faded, i have been left with light white patches (small like the spots were). It is most noticable on my stomach and thighs. Im afraid i dont have any solutions either!

I have just noticed a new herald patch so fear I may be coming down with another bout...yuk! when you say you manage yours using head and shoulders, when do you begin using it because when i had pr last time, i tink i used it too late as it was agony! would you use it at the first sign of a herald patch or wait until the spots appear?

    Thanks

Hello, what ended up happening with the second bout?

To be honest, I've never noticed the herald patch - I think it must always be on my back - I tend to get it most badly on my upper back.

I use head and shoulders every day now - wash my hair with it and let it run down. If I have a particularly bad outbreak then I use it as a kind of body wash on those areas.

Mine never causes me any real discomfort - only slight itching behind knees etc - but it looks horrid....

    Grrr!
