Are you obese? This is the suggestion I thought was valuable.

What probably triggered the heel pain? whats different from last year to now? And you may find that it may be an obvious thing to work towards.

Medicine world didn't seem to be advance enough in this arena! Good luck.

hi all ive been told i have plantar fasciitis and after going back and fourth to the doctors for over 12 weeks now ive finally have enough. Ive also been seeing a sports therepist who has recommended plaster cast or a removable walking brace should be used and suggested this to my gp this morning who just laughed at me yet it is stated as a treatment opion on this site which the gp keeps refering to, he has told me to carry on with my treatment for another 4 weeks then go back but ive booked in for another doctor tomorrow morning as waiting over 12 weeks already is ridiculas

Yes, I am over weight but no one should have to suffer like this. I have it in my left heel but it is aggravated by swelling and circulation issues in that leg. I have had this for 7 months now and now i am basically bedridden as any pressure at all is excruciating. i have gone from walking to bedridden in 7 months and this really takes a toll mentally as well as physically. i just want to give up. i dont think anyone has it as bad as me...will i ever get better?
