Arm Pain 1 Month After IV

I had a CT with contrast 4 weeks ago. A few hours after the contrast my arm hurt where they put the IV. In the crease of the elbow where they usually draw blood from is where they put it.

The pain is on my whole upper arm. The pain was really bad for 3 days maybe 8 out of 10. No swelling or redness. The it went away for a few days. Then it came back for a few days. now its back again and it is just as painful as at the beginning. It seems to come in various waves depending on arm bent.

Having the arm bent seems to make symptoms worse during and after.  The pain now is burning.

What should I do? Could it be a clot? Did they damage the nerve? It hurts like crazy right now. The pain is mostly in the crease of the arm but also refers to upper arm, down forearm and hands as well.  Some tingling in the hands.

I think there was some damage to the nerve. How long would it take to heal?  Will it heal?  What are my options?

It happened to me to also cause had I v in me for long time close to a year . Try putting heating pad on it or even ice packs could hit some nerves like me . 5 months doing that I had bruises all over my arms to my hand take some Advil better yet if it is blood clot don’t take Advil cause the would have to give u blood thinner and you can’t take Advil with blood thinner best to use tylonal. If it Perseus go to emergency asp. Hope it turns out good. 🤗
