Armpit Lump

So I discovered a lump under my armpit in the shower last week. My cycle is due to come down in a few days and usually around this time (and sometimes during or right after ovulation) my armpit aches, in addition to my breasts. The lump hurts to touch and it hurts when I wash under that armpit in the shower. If I poke around with it too much, it aches as well. This lump is quite squishy and movable and can be flattened for the most part if I push down hard enough. But considering where it is and how lumps in your armpit can be possible signs of something serious, I'm just curious to hear what you guys think. I also think it's important to mention that I got a lump VERY similar to this under my breast years ago. Got examined and got an ultrasound and was cleared of anything serious. It even popped up and disappeared several times after during those times between ovulation and menstruation. Because this lump feels and hurts the same, I'm wondering if this is similar. Literally just laying here with my arm pressed to me while I type this hurts. I know people are gonna say that my best bet would be a doctor's appointment, and I'm on it the day after Christmas. But I really just want some feedback. What does this sound like to y'all? The c-word? A cyst? A boil?

Nobody can tell you what this is and it would not be wise of anyone to guess. You know what is the right thing to do.
