Armpit...now groin!

I have had HS in my armpit since I was 15. I am now 19. It started in my left armpit and since I've been at college it's the worst it's ever been.  I tried injections, creams, home remedies, and antibiotics but nothing worked.  I went on accutane for my acne but that didn't help it either.  I am scheduled for plastic surgery on my armpit in January.  However, I just noticed a huge flare up in my grown, right near my private area.  Any suggestions / tips to help the pain, smell, and discomfort of these bumps?

Thanks!!

Hi, my name is Alex, I'm 29 years old and live in Illinois. I feel very bad for you. Mine started in my left arm and moved to my inner thighs and then in my groin just above my manly area. I have had several surgeries with the last one being 9-25 where the Dr cut out all the cysts under my stomach and put 47 staples going across from hip to hip to keep me closed. I would strongly suggest surgery but also suggest taking 30mg of zinc 3 times a day with food. I understand your being tired of injections, creams and such but I have several suggestions as to what might help. I also do not suggest going to Mayo clinic in Minnesota because their HS clinic was not any help. If you need any assistance feel free to message me.

Personally it reduced the swelling for a while and it has worked for others I know. Hibiclense is available at most pharmacies and is a great soap that may reduce the amount of flairs
