Armpit swelling

Hi,

Could anyone relate to a swelling in my right armpit? I've had it about 3 weeks now, nurse examined it and asked doctor to check it out. Dr sent me the following day for an ultrasound, results came back as satisfactory apparently meaning NAD and normal looking lymph node. It's not painful but swelling not going, also I have really sore breasts.

So anxious as to why swollen

It could simply be that you are fighting something local like a virus that is going around.  The pain in your breast could be a small cyst or hormonal changes. With Fibromyalgia there can often be painful lymph glands. This could be possibly due to a weaker immune system. Since you had the swelling checked out Mandy, I would not worry about it. We women with Fibro experience all kinds of symptoms but most of the time, they are nothing to be concerned about. Even women who do not have chronic illness deal with weird symptoms and lymphatic pain. Try not to stress sweetie. You only then to make mountains out of little meaningless mole hills. Big hugs! I'm glad I read this as I've had painful lumpy lymph nodes and I am going to see gp tomorrow as I have another little lump that never had before, and with only 10 minutes how can gps make a good prognosis on issues? Anyway is anyone having any serious breakouts? I seem to have this added to every other fibromyalgia pains?
