Hi I remember reading a post from someone who used Arnica to help with healing after a TKR.. does anyone know what strength... dose... brand is best?

    Hi Mary,

    i use use arnica a perinneal herb in gel form on my knees. I apply it 3 times a day to the knee joint helps with the pain. Also I wear knee wrap or support & special shoes for joint pain found online especially developed for arthritis in joints. The shoes helps  tremendously. Like walking on soft sand takes the pressure off the area and balance back in the legs for better pain control.

    check with UR dr first if it may interfere with any current meds u r taking.

      Would be interested to know more detailsabout the shoes as I also suffer from knee pain.

    I've been massaging my knee with coconut oil and 2 or 3 drops of arnica essence. The bottle just says Pure Pro arnica therapeutic concentrate. I don't know what effect it is having but my scar is not so thick now.

    It might sound daft but once the wound had fully healed over I used Vick Vapour rub Absolutly fantaastic. Everyone has remarked how well the eound has healed. Its alo great for any foot hard skin or nail fungal infection

    I poopood it it until I used it and I rcommend it. Its probably the herbs in it like teetree in it
