Hi All

Looking for some advice, my father has been diagnosed with arthritis in his C1, C2, C3, C4  in his cervical vertebrae. He his 57 years old he but has suffererd  this pain for 25 years due to a car crash he was was in. The various doctors he has spoken to have said there is nothing they can do due to the positioning of the problem to the skull area. There is also no cure for arthritis to so just wondering if there is any help as he is out of his mind with the pain. Any suggestions on any sort of pain killers? The last doctor suggested cocodamol which i think is a bit of a joke due to the pain. He has also tried some cannabis oil drops from  a UK pharmacy, he says this helps some times but im not sure if this is nothing more than just a placebo affect as there is mixed reviews.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards Aidan

All I can suggest is that he work on modifying his diet to reduce inflammation:

    1) Eliminate legumes, nuts, tomatoes, eggplant, tomatillo (and any other nightshade plants I missed), and bell peppers.

    2) Introduce circumen, ginger, magnesium, cinnamon, and apple cider vinegar into his diet.

Other than that, recognize that exercise helps reduce arthritic pain. For example, I suffered arthritic knee pain for three years such that I needed to descend stairs one leg at a time. After about two months of doinf kettlebell workouts, my knee pain is completely gone. To this end, consult with a sports-oriented physical therapy rehad

center. They may be able to help him.
