What tips do you have for preparing for surgery?

Any preparations at home? What was particularly helpful to those who have had it before?

    tips that i picked up

1 get an ice machine ready. better than any pain meds

2 i had a sport massage the day before to relax the muscles in the shoulder

3 get very loose clothes 3 sizes bigger

4 pillow wedge for the bed to sleep against

5 get a good sling mine is a dojoy ultra 3 its very restrictive in a kind way

6 wear the sling out. even when you feel better. people give you a wider birth and help you more

7 take the pain meds if needed. dont be a hero.

8 set up a mini gym to start moving the joint. and yes it will hurt at first

9 dont stop moving it or it will freeze up
