Evening folks loving this damp cold weather, the old as is giving me some jip, anybody out there taking etanercept needles like me only asking mine are not working neither is the naproxen or paras, pain now 24  7, not seeing my specialists till next month just need a night of sleep without my leg n hip and back and neck not hurting, if you have come off etanercept to take a better medication what is it cheers in advance

    Sorry I have never tried it but Naproxsn is good and and gabapentin.,.... Worth a try

    I'm on etanercept and it sometimes doesn't work. Have you tried tramadol to give you some release from the pain? And magnesium flakes in a hot back to relax your muscles before bed? Heat patches are good to leave on at night too.hope you manage to get some relief, it's awful when the AS is so bad you can't sleep. If you do take tramadol, just be careful how often you take them, all too easy for your body to become dependent on them, but if used very sparingly they can give you a night of good sleep which can help your biologic injection to work. Good luck

      I have been taking them for a few years now and I agree they are very helpful..... Just be careful of side effects like itching of the skin ...
