AS and loss of apetite/hunger

Hi all
I'm wondering if there's anyone else out there who's experiencing loss of appetite and hunger?
I'm never hungry. I can go 2 days without eating at all. During the weekends I barely eat at all, during the week it's easier to remember to eat because I see that my coworkers are eating lunch and that reminds me that it's time to eat. But I'm still not hungry, I just eat 'because I should'.
And just so you know it...I am NOT depressed. I'm enjoying life, I have a fulfilling life and I'm happy.
I don't have any other health issues except AS and vitamin d deficiency (which started long before this lack of hunger).

I did lose my appetite months before my doctor even realised something was wrong. Even now I have to remind myself to eat regularly but I do eat much much healthier now. I try to follow an anti-inflammatory diet and it's easier when I'm not very hungry or not craving junk food.
Is your stomach upset too? I think IBS is a symptom of AS so it could be a sign that your stomach just isn't happy. I kept a food diary for ages and slowly cut some foods that were making me react and slowly my stomach issues are healing but I'm seeing a specialist for that next month so I'll see what he thinks
But I think low appetite in general is common with this

Yes, I experience the same, and also have IBS and lack of vitamin D before even know about AS (diagnosed 7 months ago). But I admit I am also stressed with other issues (eg job, personal) and even I am not hungry I started to eat not so healthy food, hope I will stop that.
Wish you all a lot of health!

Thank you for your answers.
The thing is... My stomach is fine except this but eating this irregularly of course isn't good. I am actually less stressed out nowadays, got a new job 3 months ago and I love it. Guess I'll talk to my GP about IBS.
I've actually gained some weight too, I'm guessing my metabolism is set to zero.

Do you have heart burn, constipation, diarrhea, excess uncomfortable gas, pain anywhere on stomach etc?
The lack of appetite could just be a sign of an auto immune disease. Maybe our bodies are trying to tell us something? Eat less, less pain.. or eat less of certain foods, less pain..
I'm a firm believer in listening to your body and what it's trying to tell you.
