This is a tricky question to answer. I think it all depends on how much you yourself believe. The human brain is so complex that science has many more years to find out what we are capable of. Any person who states that they can expand their reality to access things we others cannot require us to have absolute belief in them and open our minds over to them to control.
Any followers of religion believe in an Almighty being that they have never witnessed as actually existing.

Hi Mike,
Thank you for sharing your view.I see that the majority of people across the world believe in Gods whom they have never seen.So this fellow might be similar to them.
But I'm still a little bit confused as this person is hearing voices and only hearing them when he wants to(when he starts the practise). The rest of the time he is normal.
Does that need a monitoring?

It sounds like a simular description as a person who claims to have physicic powers (not pleased with that spelling). As long as this person is not trying to con you out of any wealth or possessions then it could be put down to harmless fun.
On the other hand if the voices that are conveniently heard only by this person are in any way attempting to guide you to say or do something you would not normally do I would suggest you use great caution and common sense. Get back to me if you have anything you want to discuss further.

I think the best way would be for that person to go and see a psychologist for a diagnosis. To sit down and explain everything to them and the doctor can tell them if it's schizophrenia or something else, or not. It's a much wider world than science understands so hearing a voice is not necessarily the equivalent of a mental illness - the doctor, the specialist, can decide. And then finally the person themselves can decide.

Amazing. There'd probably be reputable websites devoted to astral projection and these kinds of things. They could prove helpful as well. Welcome.
