At my wits end 😩

Hi everyone.

September last year, extreme stomach pains, stomach bloating, can not finish a toilet, can’t remember the last time I did, I’m going 3/4 times a day but can’t complete a movement even though my stools are NORMAL ... I just can’t get my head around this, I’ve had a MRI on small bowels which was clear, my stool calopretin test showed high inflammation at 117 which I find extremely low compared to others here.  I’m awaiting urgent Endoscopy which is a minimum off 20 weeks, I’ve been on the list 22 now, I’ve been prescribed numerous medications.

Luxido, mebeverine, buscopan, senna, neither worked apart from buscopan for the pain, beginning off this week I’ve been giving lactalose, peppermint capsules & Docusate, I’m still not getting any relief or a loose stool, still can’t complete a BM and literally have to push my but cheeks together so hard (sorry for to much info) from the strain I’m having really bad shooting pains front off my head through to my eyes, literally had enough.

Have anyone got any home remedies or anything they do to ease this apart from constant drugs, or have anyone experienced anything like this?

Thanks in advance

Sounds a lot like my story. I had to do physical therapy and biofeedback therapy to help with my Pms.. It did not help at all. Finally had my doctor do a MRI defecation test. It’s a very odd one but they determined that my pelvic floor has weekend and has compromised my ability to P and go  PM. I will have to have surgery to lift my pelvic floor and bring me back to normalcy. I need I will have to have surgery to lift my pelvic floor and bring me back to normalcy. Need to go to a specialist who knows about pelvic floor disorder’s. Check that out.  Hope this gives u some direction. Nancy

I had been struggling for three years. I had endoscopy, ultrasound, mri, colonoscopy and no one found any problems. I still felt bad but relief I had nothing terminal. Then I had bleeding hemmoroids, probably from pushing so hard to try to get what I couldn’t poo out. Had them removed hoping that would help with my uncomfortable feeling.  That fixed the bleeding but not my feeling of incomplete defecation. Went to a rectal Colon doctor who specialized in pelvic floor issues. After a year of physical therapy he prescribed I went back to him. Finally he did a mri defegraphy test. U in mri and they insert paste in u. Then they have u relax and then try to poo it out. They discovered my entire pelvic floor has fallen. My bowel folds into itself when I push. It’s crowded my bladder and uterus. I have problems peeing as well.

Now surgery is the fix. This was way too long to have been waiting for a diagnosis . I hope you have better luck. Look up pelvic floor on web. Good luck.

Omg that is awful it took that long for you sad it’s mentally challenging isn’t in? ‘I& I’ve only been like this since September!im glad they finally found the course though, if I had the money I sear is go private but financially couldn’t afford it, specially due to being on the sick because off this, I had bladder problems where I keep urinating blood, but I had Cystoscopy which showed my bladder was fine so I’m just one off those who bleed for nothing. Xx

As long as you’re seeing the correct type of doctor. That would be a colon rectal surgeon or doctor. I do not believe it’s stomach related. Good luck to you. My health insurance covers all of this and I am in the US.
