Ataxia

Hello! About five years ago I had a brain injury (Central Pontine Myelinysis) and I am grateful two be alive and had such a great recovery. The one thing that I feel is holding me back is my Ataxia. I exercise daily, take a B Complex daily, cut out most caffeine and alcohol, and take a small dose of Propranolol (beta blocker) for the tremors but they still persist. There just has to be some advice out there. Most of my tremors are in my arms and I also have Dysarthia. Thanks in advance!

My friend took Sinemet for tremors and it worked ,but it has several side effects.

My advice for you is to test often for epileptic seizure activity before it's too late ,you are at very high risk because of your brain injury ,it takes time to develop but you can start taking meds before it gets bad ,talk to your DR about this .

My dear friend went through all that ,TBI and seizures 6 years later.
