Atenolol Tapering

ive been tapering Atenolol. Started in March 2021 and stopped in July 2021. i started at 20mg and I am now at 7.15mg. On most days I am very very sick. high anxiety, headaches, muscle pain, nausea, dizziness, sleep disturbance etc.

My psychiatrist suggested i go back up to my full original dose but I scared to. Im not convinced it will help me feel better and I also think that if I go back up I will never come off this med again.

My psych hasxalso suggested I try Lexapro to help with the anxiety. Abyone used Lexapro for Beta Blocker WD? I want to avoid using a Benzo as they are too addictive
