Hi guys I'm post TKR day 10 so far so good! Am finding my thigh muscle is tightening up am I ok to use a massage roller on it?

    hi freestork - i wouldn't do that yet - you are only 10 days out - wait for that - or at least check with your PT/Doc - in my opinion, it's too early - good luck!

    I used roller, but not until later on, around three weeks.

      Ok thanks Jenny will leave it a bit, I did have ago on my thigh and buttock it did help a bit am conscious of doing too much too soon

      You could maybe just use your hands I guess. Run them from the knee up towards the thigh? That would be a little more gentle!

    Stretch! Stretch! Stretch!! Google or utube exercise for abductor, adductor, quad and hamstrings. Better stretch, takes time. I think thats why I never got back pain. Look up many and find ones that work for you.
