Ativan generic brand switched

Ive been taking ativan for five months now and just began to cut my doses down when i picked up a new script.. took a few with no effect on my anxiety,caused my heart to speed up ( not teerible,just noticable) and gave me a stomachache. I finally looked closely at bottle and the manufactur is different. im very surprised there is such a difference?!!!

Was taking activis brand and they gave me Leading. SO, i called my pharmacy and told her and asked if they have the activis and she said yes but they are the same medicine. idk whats going on BUT THEY ARE NOT.

She said she has to get an ok from my dr... i said i would return this bottle and they can dispose of it and she said they cant do that.. ughhh. Just another reason i want off this medication. Now im just waiting to hear from them.. my dr is hard to get a hold of and wondering what will happen with my insurance.. they only pay for one a month. anyway, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?? If they dont switch me back, this is gonna be one fast ween.

    I am wondering if these problems you are having are not because of the brand switch, but from withdrawal side affects from dropping your dose.
