I have been not feeling well for awhile but recently it has been getting worse. I have had a positive ANA 1:640 and a high CRP. I have also received a diagnoses of gout because of toe pain but never had a blood test or an X-ray.

Recently I woke up with stomach issues, nausea diarrhea and extreme pain throughout my body. I have started part time this year because of the exhaustion and my inability to do my job and take care of my family.

On this particular day the pain was very bad, I was extremely scared and almost agreed to go to the ER which I hate doing.

The following morning I woke up, my fingers were swollen, hot, toes hurt. Pain was pretty severe. Called doc for emergency appointment and she said RA.

Prednisone has helped. RA factor came back <10 with 14 being positive. I have hashimotoes, and celiac disease already.

ANA homogenous and spotted what could this be?

Sounds like it could be Lupus to me. Not sure enough about ana if it is positive in RA but it can be in Lupus. I have Behcet's which is similar. Lot of overlap in symptoms. Esp with Hashimoto's too. Big auto immune profile there. What age are you? Also consider Takayesu's. Excuse spelling. Almost certainly wrong!

Sorry should have asked...do you suffer any recurring ulceration in mouth or genital area? If so that makes Behcet's more likely x

I was wondering if they have done a dsdna since your Ana was positive. Autoimmune issues are awful and so hard to know anything. One Dr. Says something then another Dr. Says something totally different . Then you get people who have no idea what they are taking about telling you to try this diet our this and that. They really have no idea what they are talking about. So I have found that people who say they know how to treat autoimmune diseases are full of crap. Dr. Who are specialist in this field are the ones you can talk to. My Dr. Said diet is different for everybody with autoimmune disease you have to figure out what works for you.

    You guys are awesome!

No genital sores at all but I have kept a journal and these are my symptoms

    Extreme Exhaustion

    Restless leg

    Dizziness

Joint pain (carrying bags or heavy things) fingers and when joints are bent and try to straighten extreme

Isolated joint pain feels like joint is broken

    Fingers turning blue

    Nausea

    Frequent urinating esp night

Wrong words come out of mouth

Forgetfulness- could not remember zip code or city I live in

Sudden bouts of tiredness - have to lay down

Cuts take long time to heal

    Night shakes/sweats

    Siatic pain

Pain that radiates down leg aches

    Headaches

    Chest pain.. Achy annoying

    Feeling rundown

    Lame hands/ wrists

    Fingers(worst)and toes ache/ hot

Hard to do finger specific tasks..

The list is long! I am terrified! I feel somewhat paralyzed. In the past additional tests have been done to try to see if an autoimmune disease showed up, but as of 2 years ago, there was none. I have tried to skip the prednisone, but I can't. I cannot deal with the pain... I am 41 and for years I have felt like an old person... I knew I shouldn't feel this way. I thought maybe I had lymes, and I was so scared the day I had the pain I had my husband check the bottom of my foot where a blister had been thinking I had blood poisoning... Crazy I know... Thank you thank you thank you for all this help

Yes it is all very scary when these symptoms flare up. It is often the case these auto immune issues don't show up in blood tests mri x ray whatever. It is like an invisiblr illness. Very trying.
