Hi all,

To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. I have been having stomach issues for 2 years now. First I had H.pylori which took my GP 3 months to diagnose. Once I got over that, I still did not feel right. I kept having pain off & on, I let it go on for months because when I would call my GP they would just give me Omeprazole & retest me for H.plyori which I do not have. Fast forward to August this year, I ended up in the ER and turns out I have an infected gallbladder & gallstones. One had escaped from my gallbladder & it was messing with my liver. They admitted me to hospital, fluids & antibiotics through my IV for 5 days then discharged with oral antibiotics once my liver was doing better.

They said I'd need surgery but before they can do that I need an MRI scan & i'll be doing that as an outpatient. It's been 2 months now and I haven't heard anything but I feel like crap. My pain comes and goes, but the past week I've been in bed, nauseous, no appetite & my GP took my bloods - I have low iron now.

How long is it supposed to be for an MRI scan?! I googled it & it says 6 weeks max.
