    Rose,  Whatever you do, deeply research your surgeon.  These can be miraculous procedures or go badly wrong.  You want a surgeon who specializes in these procedures and has done hundreds of them successfully.  There are surgeons who specialize in only acid reflux surgeries.  Don't let just anyone operate on you.  Blessings for complete healing and success!

    Thanks for the replies, i am waiting to see a surgeon who can do this operation as none in my local hospital can, was advised by referring dr to think carefully as this procedure carries risks. So im not sure whether to have it done.
