Award Review

I have had a f2f review last week after filling in and sending form back. Got a text saying that they have recieved the report from the accessories and I will hear from them in 4 weeks their descission. As I am on high rate for mobility and standard for living until December 2018 what are my chances of staying on the same level as my condition has got worse since being awarded this back in 2016?

    Hi Sharon,

Unfortunately no one can answer that question for you. Hopefully you sent in evidence to support your claim because even though it was a review evidence will still have been needed.

You can ring DWP to ask them to send you a copy of the assessment report. This will give you some idea what the decision will be as mostly they go with that report. It will also be very usefull if the decision doesn't go in your favour and you have to ask for the Mandatory Reconsideration (MR)

Hopefully you won't be waiting too long. Good luck.

      Hi Denise

Yes I did give doctors letter and MRI scan reports. If I call the PIP on Monday would they be able to send me the report straight a way and If I ask would they be able to tell me the outcome like if I've got it again or not.

They will send you the report and you should recieve it within 10 days. If a decisions been made they will tell you, if it hasn't they can't tell you. They open at 8 on Monday, ring then. Good luck.
