Awful anxiety after dose increase

Hi

I went back on Sertraline 2 and a half weeks ago because of anxiety and depression.

I started at 25mg for four days and then went to 50mg for a week. I'm now on 75mg and yesterday and I today I've had crippling anxiety.

Anyone else had this from a dose increase? How long did it last?

    Hi Sall. I went from 50mg to 75mgs about weeks ago and it only just settling now. I'm having some good days today being one of them but yesterday was awful. I had the full anxiety circle, light headed, tight throat and really negative thoughts so not a good day yesterday.

    I think each person is different with me it seems to take a while to get into my system.

    Have you got anything else to help you through this? Ie has you doc given you another tablet to help calm you?

    Be patient hun... This drug seems to take a while to work. Xxx

      Thanks jay. I have quetiapine to help but it hasn't been enough for last few days. How many weeks did it take for your increase to settle ?

      I'm on week 4 and its just settling now. Remember we are all different though so you may get there quicker. Everything I take seems to take ages to work. 😑
