awful relapse

so i think i am experiencing a full blown flare up of ebv. ever since i got mono in 2017 i never felt 100% and have constant painful/annoying symptoms, but this is different. it started with a mouth ulcer on my gums. its the most painful canker sore ive ever had in my life, my entire jaw face and head hurts from it. i am so achy, my legs and back feel so weak, my arms barely can carry anything. my mouth is soooo dry. im so exhausted its a joke. i also have sharp pains in my neck and shoulders. is this normal for ebv?? i cant help but think this is something worse. not fun to deal with at 20 years old.

    Hi Nicole,

Oh goodness so sorry to hear you're having such an awful time at the moment, I know you've suffered so much this last couple of years Nicole and really just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you.

It does seem these kind of intense and horrible relapses can happen unfortunately, I just want to write to offer some reassurance and encouragement Nicole, that I had some relapses and setbacks even during the recovery phase and it got me so down at times but I really want you to know that this phase does pass and your body does stabilise and find balance and resilience again. I just hope and pray that you can see a real change and breakthrough soon as I know you've been through such horrible times.

I want you to know Nicole that despite things not being great at the moment, I still truly believe that you are going to be fully well again and back to good health. I am still trusting God with that Nicole, don't panic or don't worry about even trying to figure it all out, just cope with each day and remember God is there and is a good God and is working in the background on your situation right now and that the manifestations of recovery will be seen thanks to Jesus.

Thinking about you and hoping for a better day and rest of the week, hang in there Nicole you will get through this.

Thanks so much for the kind words Starr, had a bit of a shaky week or so myself with some neck pain which has unsettled me so just hoping and praying that things settle down with this.

Hoping you are having a settled week and that your symptoms have not been as intense as they have been recently for sure, I'm still thinking about and rooting for you and keeping you in my prayers. Still believing you are going to be fully well and healed, I believe that in my heart of hearts.

      Craig
