Baby seizures

hi everybody,

hope somebody can help me

My 3 months old son has had 12 seizures in 48 hours.

the seizures last about 30 seconds, he sort of freezes, he doesn't move his eyes dont move he looks right trough you, its impossible to reach him, he doesn't breath (he is not stiff) he turns blue and his saturation drops (lowest drop was 25).

before the seizures he wasn't upset or anything

we have been in the hospital for 9 days, they did a lumbar puncture, mri, picture of lungs, ecg, checked his blood/urine

after 48 hours the seizures stopped, they did an eeg for 4 days but couldn't register a seizure unfortunately.

they think he has a rare form of epilepsy, so he has been taking levetiracetam for two days now.

but im honestly doubting and we are afraid we are giving him unnecessary medication

is there anybody who has experienced a similar case?
